Orion Law Management Orion Desktop Articles Server and Workstation Setting up the Orion Summary Compiler to run automatically Updated April 14, 2025 19:14 The Orion Summary Compiler should be set up to run as a scheduled task on the Orion Server. Create a scheduled task to run the compiler (typically early in the morning). On the General Tab, choose the “Run Whether User is Logged on or Not” option. On the Triggers Tab, click New and set up the time it will run Daily. On the Actions Tab, enter the path and name for the program x:\olms\orion\orionsummarycompiler.exe. In the “Add Arguments” field enter /AUTORUN. On the Settings Tab, set the “Stop the Task if it Runs Longer Than” value to 8 hours. Save your task and then right click on it and choose Run. You will need to wait a while for it to run bu once it is done you will see a log file “orionsummarycompiler.log”. Check that file to make sure it completed. Was this article helpful? Yes/No
