Placing a Logo in an Invoice Style

  • Updated

Follow the instructions in the attached article.  Generally logos need to be 300 dpi or less in order not to impact the printing speed of Invoices. Graphics that are too high in detail can cause issues, so if you go above 300 dpi you may need to consult Orion first and/or test it first.  The quality of the initial graphic can make a difference in the final presentation.  The firm must provide a graphic of sufficient quality to start with and one that has already been edited to fit.

Keep in mind the screen presentation and the actual printout on paper can be different depending on programs used for viewing and individual characteristics of the PC.  If the printed copy prints in satisfactory resolution and the screen version does not, there "may" be something that Orion can to do to help you improve it.  However, there is no guarantee that any improvement can be made.  Orion intends for logos to look as good as possible; however, once the paper logo is satisfactory there may or may not be other steps that can be taken to improve the viewing on screen itself. Often you will see a difference. Note any time assisting with formatting or editing Invoice Styles is considered a billable service by Orion.
