New Operating Account - New Bank Account

No, there is no function in Orion that allows for changing the bank code. You will need to create a new bank with a new bank code number by going to AP Manager and clicking in the bank "panel" in the lower right. Click NEW, and the system should prompt you to create a new bank. See the Knowledge Base article Setting up Bank Codes for more information on how to create a new bank in Orion.

It is recommended that you set up a new GL account for the new operating account and associate it with your new bank code for that operating account.  You will need to double check your balance sheet and financial statement formats if you add a new operating account to make sure any new accounts you add are included in the proper range.

Once you have created the new bank and it is ready to use, you will need to check AR Manager > Tools > System Settings to make sure the new default Operating Account number is input properly on that screen prior to entering new transactions.

Note that modification of financial statements is considered a billable service. Contact Orion support if you have any questions on bank setup or financial statement modification.
