I Entered a Bank Reconciliation Transaction Using Period 12. What Year Will it Effect?

If the Reconciliation Code you used does not create General Ledger transactions, the period displayed when entering the transaction has no meaning to the system as no transactions will be created in the General Ledger. 

If the Reconciliation Code you used is set up to create General Ledger transactions, the Period and Year will default to the current AP Period and Year (not the current GL period).

Note: You do have the option to change the Period and Year at the time the Bank Rec entry is created.
