How to Access Orion as Another User

If you have access to the command line switch, you can click on the START Button and type Run in the Search/Command line box.  Type in the path to the Orion program as follows:

o:\orion\orwin\oriondesktop.exe -user|networkid

You may need to replace o: with the drive letter mapped on your system.  You will need to place the user's network login ID at the end of the command line.  If you do not know their login id you may locate it in their Orion User record on the Administration Tab.

An example of an actual user switch would be as follows:

o:\orion\orwin\oriondesktop.exe -user|csmith

NOTE:  When you log in as another user you automatically take on their security settings.  Your Orion Side Bar can be impacted by this (if they do not have access to some of the items you have access to, you will loose these Side Bar items and will have to add them back when you go back in as yourself).
