How Can I get a Count of the Number of Open Matters Assigned a Specific Type of Law

The way to get a count of the number of open Matters set to a specific Type of Law is by using the Grouping Panel feature in the File Maintenance Matter Manager.  Open the File Maintenance Matter Manager and make sure the Type of Law column is displayed on your grid (if not, right-click and choose Select Grid Fields, and drag and drop it to make it a column heading).  Make sure your Manager is set to view Open Matters only and then right click and choose "Show Grouping Panel."  Drag the column header for Type of Law to the grouping panel.  As Orion groups the Matters by Type of Law, it will give a count of the number of Matters in each Group.
