Error Message that Dates are Not Unique when Trying to Save a Timekeeper Rate in a Rate Set

This message indicates that you have attempted to save a rate for a Timekeeper that has the same effective date and rate code as a rate that is already listed for the Timekeeper.  The system will not allow this.  If in fact you need to correct, you may do one of the following:

1) Edit the date on the rate currently in the file (this may be recommended way, if you have for instance, old dates from a prior conversion. Simply changing the date by one day would fix it. This would normally not be the best way going forward on current Orion data as you want to preserve the history of rate changes as best as possible.

2)  Change the effective date on the one you are entering.  This would be the recommended option if possible.

3) The date may already have been entered in the system correctly with the right rate, and you do not need to do anything.

If you are having trouble seeing the rate that is causing the issue, click on the radio button All  to view all Rates.
