Discount Overrides - How to Present A Discount Off of "Already Discounted Production Amounts"

Yes, Orion provides a feature called Discount Overrides where you may right click on an individual entry in Bill Preparation and choose how you want to present the original hours and original amount on the Invoice. If you perform a write down on transactions and then use the Discount Invoice Style - Orion will  present the original production hours worked and the original production amounts (if the format shows amounts) and give you a discount line at the bottom that is the Original Amount less the Billed Amount.

When using discount overrides, the system allows you to present the original hours or amount as another discounted number if needed; however, this does not alter the reporting of original production hours.  If you right click on the entry in Bill Preparation, choose discount overrides, and choose to show the Original hours as two, you may do that if needed.

Write down the bill to the amount you want, and Orion will calculate and present the discount for you as a line item on the invoice totals section for you.
