Deleting a Task Code

"We have a Task Code that is no longer considered a valid Task Code but our Timekeepers keep using it.  Is there any way we can get rid of this Task Code?"

You may delete the Task Code by editing the Task Set to which it belongs.  While in the File Maintenance Manager, choose TOOLS, Manage Codes and select Task Sets in the drop-down menu next to Show Codes for in the window.  Locate and open the Task Set in which this Task Code is found.  Highlight the Task Code and click the DELETE CODE Button.  Save the Task Set.  Changes to the Task Set will be reflected on all Matters that are assigned the Task Set.
