Copying an Existing EDI Template

To copy an existing EDI template, access the TEMPLATE DESIGN Button in the EDI Billing module and then click the NEW Button.  The following window will appear:

In the Enter Name field, enter the display name of the template (what you will see in drop down lists).

In the File Name field, enter a file name for the template.  This name cannot include spaces, and you should not enter an extension.  For example, if you enter a display name of "My Template," you would then enter a file name of MyTemplate or My_Template.  If you use spaces, you will not be able to utilize the new template.

Specify the existing template you want to copy.

Click OK to save your new template.  If any changes are needed, you may make them at this time.
