Client-Matter Intake Fields Printing With No Data

  • Updated

The Intake Form is designed to print whatever has been entered on the form prior to the User clicking on the Print button.

Most likely the data simply has not been keyed in yet. If the field is a required field, the system will not let the User check the completed box prior to filling out the required (fields with a red asterisks).

If Users are in the habit of checking the completed box prior to printing the form, most likely you will not have this issue.

The Print button does not control the input process in any fashion. The only way to require that a field is filled out is to use the required field option when you originally set up the Client-Matter intake fields. The User should also place a check mark in the Completed box prior to attempting to print the stage of the form. The system will prompt for any missing data (at least on fields that are set up as required).

If the Client-Matter Number has not been assigned, you may still view the Intake Form under Processes. Uncheck the completed box on the appropriate stage of the form, then type in any missing data/check completed check box and reprint the form.
