Some scanners can be set to scan as PDF or PDF/A files. Orion can only bring in straight PDF files and not PDF/A files. One way to determine if your files are in a PDF/A format is to open them in Adobe Reader. After you open them, go to File and then Properties. Go down to the bottom to the advanced section and look at the PDF version. If the version is 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x), the files are most likely in the PDF/A format. If you are using a different PDF viewer try going to the properties of the files and it may say in there if the documents are in a PDF/A format. A quick workaround for this instead of rescanning the documents or receipts is to bring the PDF/A files up and then print to your PDF creator printer making new PDF files. Was this article helpful?
