Orion Law Management Orion Desktop Articles File Maintenance Adding a Conflict Relationship Type Updated April 14, 2025 19:08 Conflict Relationship Codes are used in Conflicts records to designate the relationship between the name on the Conflict Record and the Client-Matter on the Conflict Record. There are 4 pre-set Relationships that are used by the system in automatic creation of Conflict Records during Client and Matter entry. These pre-set Relationships are Client, Matter, Adversary and Opposing Counsel and they cannot be removed from the system.To enter a Conflict Relationship Code, click on the TOOLS Button on the File Maintenance Manager Tool Bar and then click on the Manage Codes option. From the File Maintenance Codes window, choose to Show Codes for Conflict Relationships. The following window will appear:You may sort the list by Code or Description by clicking on the appropriate column name. To add a new Code, click the NEW Button and the following window will appear:Enter the Relationship Code and click the SAVE Button. To clear your entry without saving it, click the CLEAR Button.
