Putting a Hold on Matters to prevent new Time Entry

To put matters on hold, put a closed date on the matter record in File Maintenance Manager. You may always remove the closed date to being adding time again. Closing a matter does not prevent billing, collecting or reporting within Orion. This field is found on Matter Profile Billing General tab:
