Updated April 14, 2025 20:06 The Purge History option simply removes the records of the searches performed in Records Management until the date you specify. Orion displays who did the search, whether or not there was a hit, and the words searched for on the screen. The history is not a record of results found by the search but instead a record of the search performed. It is meant to be a record of who is performing searches for the firm, if they were done and if "any" hits were found. The Purge History option just allows you to remove the Search History records up to a certain point. We recommend you keep the Search History for a minimum of one month. Was this article helpful?
