Using Event Class - Auto Populate Appointments With Descriptions

In Orion it is simple to set up a new Event Class. 

Go to File Maintenance.  Choose Tools, Manage Codes and select the Event Class from the menu.  You may add as many of these firm wide codes as you desire.  For instance, if you schedule a lot of depositions, you might add DEP Deposition as a code so that you do not have to type the word Deposition every time you schedule a deposition appointment.
