Orion Law Management Orion Desktop Articles Desktop Time Entry in Tenths versus Hundredths Updated April 14, 2025 20:19 Before Orion is installed on your system and before your data is converted, the firm decides upon the format they would like time entered and stored. The two most common types of usage are tenths where an hour is divided into ten (10) equal parts and hundredths where an hour is divided into 100 parts. If your system is set to record time in tenths, units of an hour may only be entered using increments of 10. For example, .1 , .2 , .3. If your system is set to hundredths you may enter your units using 2 digits to the right of the decimal, i.e., .25 , .36 , etc.Once this parameter is set in the System File and time is entered in the system, you cannot change the setting without converting existing fee transactions.
