Records Management - What is a Subset Search?

A subset search is a search performed on the results from the previous search that are displayed on the screen.  The option to perform a subset search is not available unless you have search results listed on the screen, A subset search is typically used to narrow your results.  For example, if you search for “Thompson,” you may want to search all the records containing “Thompson” for those that contain “Robert.”
