Merging a Contact Type or Case Type

In the Orion Administration program, access the Contact/Case Setup section and then click on the Contact Types icon.  Open the Contact Type you want to merge (this will be the one removed from the list). Select Merge.  A new window will pop up, and in it, select the Contact Type or Case Type the merging should take place.  In the below screenshot, father is going to be merged into a more general type called Family/Relative.  If you check the box at the bottom "append link notes," the original Contact Type or Case Type will be put into the Link Notes field.
