How to Set Up A User for Exchange Sync in Orion

You will need to go to the Orion user list, so either go to File Maintenance Manager or go to the Admin program.  Once there find the User you want to add or check, and double click on it.  The first thing to check is to make sure the email address is correct under the General tab.  Next go to the Administration tab and make sure Practice Management User is checked.

 



 

Once that is checked, a new tab will appear called Outlook Integration, and click on that.  Check the box labeled Enable Orion-Outlook Sync, and it will fill out the fields for you with what is in the screenshot.  If you only want Contacts to be synced then clear out the appointments and tasks fields.  If you have document management software such as iManage, check the box for Disable Outlook Email.  Click Save.
