Global Edit Feature on Contacts

Orion provides a global Edit Wizard for firms using Orion's Practice Management System that allows for edits of both standard and custom fields.  There is no "undo" on this feature so it must be used with caution. It is sometimes used in marketing processes to mark Contacts. with detail marketing notes after a mailing.

The feature can be accessed from Contacts by right clicking and choosing Global Edit. 

You have to highlight/select the records you want to change first and then right click and choose Global Edit. Select the fields you want modified, click NEXT, then input the changes and choose if you want to append Notes to ones already there. Hit NEXT and you will get a warning screen and the option to click Finish. When ready, click Finish and let the global edit run.
