Giving Attorneys access to View the Rates in Use on a Client-Matter

If you want to give your Attorneys the ability to view the rates used on a Client-Matter without giving them access to File Maintenance Manager, you can give them rights to the Matter Timekeeper Rates report.  Go into the Orion Administration program > User Setup > Security Groups, and open the Security Group to which the Attorneys are assigned.  Expand the Reporting System to the Journals and Registers section and place a check mark under the “FULL” column next to the “Matter Timekeeper Rates” option.  Once the Attorneys have rights to the report, they can run it for a Client-Matter and review the rates in use.

NOTE: Users will have to exit Orion and re-enter it in order to read the new security settings.
