Finding Table Where Custom Data is Stored

Custom data is written to a separate database called CustomData versus the normal OrionData database.  To find what table it is going to inside CustomData, go to the Orion Administration program.

Once you are there go to Tables and Views on the left menu bar and then Data Views.  On the right are what are most likely the tab names that are displayed when the Client-Matter information is displayed in the Desktop program.  Double click the one where the field you are trying to find is located.  Two windows will open up, the "designer" and the "fields" windows.  Make the fields window bigger by dragging the borders, locate the field in which you are interested, and then look at the second column. The first word preceded by the period will be your table name and after the period will be the field name in the table.

Note:  Do not alter anything on these 2 screens.
