Finding the Invoice on which Client Advance or Expense Appeared

Option 1

Go to Expense Manager.

Make sure the column headings you need are displayed. You may need to right click first, choose Select Grid Fields and drag/place the Voucher Number and the Invoice Number on the column headings.

Click on Expense Filter.

If you want to narrow down by Client, put in a Client Number  and * in the Matter field. That will allow you to search all Matters on a Client. Leave the Client-Matter fields blank if you want to see all items regardless of the Client-Matter.

Choose the date range in question and filter for Invoiced items. 

This will display all the data on the screen for you, and you can see the Client Advance and/or Expense on the screen next to the Invoice Number on which it appeared.  You can search on any column in the Expense Manager by simply sorting by the column and typing in it. For instance, you may want to search by Voucher Number or by Description.

 

 

 

Option 2

Print to screen or paper the Billed Disbursements Analysis Report in the Billing and Revenue Reports folder in the Reporting System. This will have the Client Advances/Expenses listed along with the Invoice Number on which the Client Advances/Expenses appeared.
