Data Files Containing General Ledger Transactions

There are 3 data files that are related to General Ledger transactions.

GLTRANSACTIONHEADER holds the header information of the transaction (top part of the GL entry/edit screen).

GLTRANSACTIONDETAIL holds the distribution lines of the General Ledger transaction.

CMNOTES holds the General Ledger header description and the distribution description(s). The Header description is saved with a FieldID of 9 and the record number (oid) of the GL Header record in GLTRANSACTIONHEADER. The description of the distribution line is saved with a FieldID of 10 and the record number (oid) of the distribution record in GLTRANSACTIONDETAIL.
