Miscellaneous Cash (MC) Transaction Not Reflected in GL Account Status

Make sure the GL transaction has been approved and posted - only posted transactions show in Account Status.  You should also verify what account you hit.  To do this, call up the MC transaction in the AR Manager and choose TOOLS, View Related GL Transactions.
