Report Sorts

Orion provides a number of basic sorts on the reports such as Originating, Responsible, Project, Working, Type of Law, Location, and Department. Typically there is one main sort and then the detail level of the report may also have a sort built in such as Timekeeper, Client, or Client-Matter.  On the Timekeeper Annual Summary report in order to get data by Type of Law and Location you may need to sort by Type of Law and then use the Filter Tab for Location Code. In some cases you may need to run separate reports to get the data you need.

If there is a sort you need and you do not find that you can produce the data via the standard report, you may mark up a pdf copy of the report and send in to Orion support. We can at times provide you with an alternative report or in some cases quote you for a special custom report that can be placed on your Site-Defined Tab.
