Orion Law Management Orion Desktop Articles Reporting Issue with Payment Application Analysis Report Updated April 14, 2025 18:44 If the original payment date is outside the date range for your report, the reversal and reapplied entries are offsetting. When the report is run and set to include reversals, any reversal will be included where the reversal date is within the specified date range but the date of the original transaction is outside the specified date range. If both the reversal date and the original date are within the range, the reversal is thrown out and not factored into the report. To change the reversal date so it matches the original date, in AR Manager, click on Action > View Reversals. Enter the affected Client-Matter with a reversal date that is different from the original payment date. Once displayed, right click on the line item and choose Change Date Voided. Change the void date to match the original payment date. See the article titled Reversal Date Change. Try running your report again after changes to the date have been made. Was this article helpful?
