Exporting data from Orion Reports to Excel or Access

Yes, Orion provides a Data Output feature on all of the reports that allows for exporting certain fields.

Complete your report selections and date ranges as you normally would, then access the Data Output Tab on the report. Choose your Destination such as Excel, put in an appropriate file\path name and for the TAB name put in the TAB on Excel such as Sheet1.  Check the fields you want to export.  Click on the Data Output Button (note that it only becomes available if you have fields selected to output). 

This will send your data to Excel for you.

If you don't want particular fields, but want the whole report placed in Excel, choose the Export Button rather than the Data Output feature.

The Export Button is more like a copy and paste feature and some formatting may be needed once data is in Excel - this can be used when you want the whole report rather than certain fields.
