Applying Payment to Multiple Clients

Orion will not allow you to apply a payment across multiple Clients. Instead, you will need to enter the payment as multiple transactions. You can enter it as one RDP under one Client-Matter number and then redistribute it to other Matters (whether under the original Client or other Clients) by using the Retainer Transfer Program. Another option is to determine how much will be used for each Client and enter a PMT transaction for one Matter of each Client.  Each PMT transaction can then be applied across the Matters of the specific Client on which it is entered.
